Who is Kim Jones? 5 things to know about Jericho Rosales' former wife

Kim Jones is so much more than an actor’s former partner.

Although her name is making the rounds online following the confirmation of the split with her husband Jericho Rosales, Kim is a force to be reckoned with as a content creator and all-around creative.

Here are five things to know about Kim:

1. The basics

Kimberly Camilla Jones was born on August 4, 1987 to a British father and Filipino mother. She grew up in Australia and moved to the Philippines in 2010 where she started her career. She is mostly known in fashion circles, having started The Fore, a design collaboration platform that brings to the front what she calls "slow design."

Last December, Kim revealed to Cosmo that she dropped out of university in Australia where she was studying architecture, saying that the curriculum-based learning system was not for her.

Before making it as a model, Kim also worked as a banker and at a salad bar in Australia.

2. Career beginnings

Kim rose to fame as a model and TV host.

According to an interview with fashionista.com, Kim started modeling when her brother, also a model in the Philippines, introduced her to his agent.

Her first shoot was for a shampoo commercial where she spent 20 hours on set and earned $30 only for her part to be cut out of the final edit.

That did not discourage Kim, as she eventually became a presenter on ETC’s lifestyle and magazine show “Etcetera” from 2011 to 2014.

Kim started a fashion website, kimcamjones.com in 2011, where she documented her daily looks and activities and continued earning a large Instagram following.

In 2016, Kim designed a capsule collection for Shoes of Prey, a now-defunct brand that specializes in custom shoes.

Kim also attends fashion weeks around the world for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Dior.

3. Directing

Aside from being a model and a content creator, Kim has made a name for herself for her work behind the camera.

She has been directing her own shoots, and works as a writer and photographer.

In recent years, Kim has been working as a filmmaker for clients such as Louis Vuitton. In 2018, she directed, styled, and starred in a short film for the luxury brand, titled “Archetype.”

She released the short film “Paris By Night,” in 2022, inspired by fashion week.

In 2023, Kim and Jericho collaborated together for a Vogue shoot, with the actor standing as model for his — well, according to reports, by then they were already separated.

Anyway, More brands Kim has worked with include Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, and many more.

4. Recognitions

The multi-hyphenate has been described as the “Cindy Sherman of the Instagram Era,” after the American artist whose work primarily consists of photography and self-portraits.

On her website, we learn that Kim has also been named one of CNN’s Leading Women, Tatler Magazine’s “changemakers working to make the world a better place,” and was included in Tatler's Gen. T list as one of the “leaders of tomorrow who are shaping Asia’s future.”

She has appeared on various magazine covers, features, and has been awarded and invited for speaking engagements for her work.

5. Kim is an artist through and through

Even when she’s not creating, Kim dives deep into the work of other artists through literature, films, visual arts, music, fashion, and more.

On her Instagram broadcast channel This is Not a Book Club, the avid reader shares her thoughts on the books she’s currently reading. Kim also provides playlists, paintings, and movies inspired by these books.

Aside from these hobbies, Kim also enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.

On Monday, Kim and Jericho's separation was confirmed. According to reports, the two have been separated since 2019, but they remain the best of friends.
