Jo Berry reunites with Nora Aunor for upcoming series

This is one reunion Kapuso viewers are excited to see!

Jo Berry recently reunited with her “Onanay” co-star, Nora Aunor. They will be working together again and playing mother and daughter in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series, “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law.”

According to Jo's Instagram post, she will play the titular character while Nora will play her mother, Nanay Chato.

“Reunited with my OG Nanay!” Jo said in her caption.

“Onanay” premiered on GMA Network in 2018. The drama series followed Jo as Onay, a mom with Achondroplasia—a genetic disorder that causes dwarfism—and the challenges of raising two daughters with opposite personalities.

Meanwhile, “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law” follows the title character who fights for justice despite people’s doubts against her.

Jo is also known for acting in “Little Princess” and “The Gift.”

Nora is set to star in two films: “Mananambal,” a horror flick with Bianca Umali, and “Pieta,” a drama movie with Alfred Vargas.
