Bretman Rock throws it back to 2016 as he celebrates 8th year in the industry

Bretman Rock looked back at his younger self in honor of his eighth year of content creation.

On Instagram, the baddest internet star posed in front of a patterned tapestry, like the one he used in his earlier videos. He also dedicated a letter to his past self.

“POV: it’s 2016 and we’re both late to school because I had to film 3 vines, 10 Snapchat story and do a full face all before 1st period, all [because] you were delusional enough to think you’re a star…”

Bretman added that he was thankful for his past.

"And I’m forever grateful for the little tiny Bretman Pebble for not giving a shii what anyone thought [because] he knew he was destined to be amongst the stars.”

He also said that the full moon in Leo also played a part in his reflections, plus the fact that 2024 is his eighth year of creating content.

“That means I’m ready for my next pinnacle,” he said.

Previously, Bretman also honored his past self, and said he is “proud of that little brown boy” and that his success “is all because of a little Filipino bakla.”

Bretman was in the Philippines last August for a belated birthday celebration in Palawan. He was able to try out fire dancing at the beach, was memorably stung by a stingray, and ate tamilok.

He also attended the Vogue Philippines anniversary gala and served morena beauty.

In March 2013, Bretman visited the country for book signing events of his first memoir, “You’re That Bitch.”
