The blessings are raining on Lola Amour!
On X (formerly Twitter), the OPM band shared a screenshot of what looks like an Instagram message from Bretman Rock.
In the message, the Filipino-American content creator expressed his fondness for Lola Amour, saying “Hahah big fan of you guys!”
On X, In the caption, the band shared their disbelief. “Grabe ang 2024 so far!!”
Grabe indeed.
Lola Amour is fresh from performing with Coldplay during the band's first concert in the Philippines last weekend.
Their performance came as a surprise as Chris Martin first began singing "Raining in Manila" before calling Lola Amour on stage.
Last year, the band was the subject of Michael V.'s beloved Bubble Gang parody with "Waiting Here sa Pila."
As part of their tour EP, Lola Amour released the song in collaboration with the Kapuso Comedy Genius.
Aside from “Waiting Here sa Pila,” the EP also holds the live and Ambon Version of “Raining in Manila,” as well as lo-fi and after-hours remixes and a remix by DJ Young.
