'Black Rider' leads primetime ratings, promises more action
It's a win for "Black Rider!"
According to preliminary data from NUTAM People Ratings, the January 24 episode of the Kapuso series earned a combined rating of 12.5 from GMA and GTV channels.
Meanwhile, "Batang Quiapo" had a combined rating of 12.2 from TV5 and Kapamilya Channel.
With this win, "Black Rider" promises episodes that are "mas matapang, mas maangas at mas maaksyon."
"Black Rider" stars Ruru Madrid as Elias Guerrero, a delivery rider with a troubled past who helps those in need. The series also tackles themes of social class and how the rich use their power to abuse the poor.
Ruru previously said the role is a dream come true and has teased more exciting episodes.
"Black Rider" also stars Matteo Guidicelli, Yassi Pressman, Katrina Halili, Philip Salvador, Empoy Marquez, Janus del Prado, Jayson Gainza, Rainier Castillo, and more.
The series airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. and on GTV at 9:40 p.m. It is also livestreamed on GMA Public Affairs' Facebook and YouTube.
