Kathryn Bernardo invited to Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque's wedding; Daniel Padilla out of the picture
Kathryn Bernardo is invited to the wedding of Dominic Roque and Bea Alonzo, but apparently, her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla is not.
In a report by Pep.ph, Dominic admitted to reporters that it was only Kathryn that the couple invited to their wedding as he and Daniel haven’t patched things up since their rift in 2020.
“Si Kath (Bernardo) lang. Kasi hindi pa kami okay ni DJ (Padilla). I mean, we’re not talking since 2020,” he said.
“We haven’t seen each other for the longest time since 2020. I haven’t been [in contact with Daniel] since then. Matagal na kaming hindi nagu-usap since 2020 (We haven’t been talking since 2020),” the 33-year-old actor.
Dominic was part of their celebrity squad called “Nguya Squad” composed of Daniel, Kathryn, Ria Atayde, Aerial Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Patrick Sugui, Marco Gumabao, and Khalil Ramos.
According to him, things could still change as they are still in the process of ironing out their wedding invites but confirmed that his closest friends Patrick, Marco, and Khalil will be there.
“Actually, hindi pa namin nailalatag sino ang nasa entourage. Basta sa lalaki side, ‘yung mga barkada kong lalaki: sina Patrick, Marco, Khalil. ‘Yun talaga ang mga kasama ko,” he said.
Dominic didn’t reveal the reason for his fallout with Daniel.
In September 2021, netizens began to notice Dominic being distant to Daniel, and seldom hanging out with the Nguya Suqad.
Their issue gained more traction when they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel called it quits in November last year, ending their 11-year relationship.
Earlier this month, Kathryn unfollowed Daniel on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Dominic and Bea got engaged in July of last year and are set to tie the knot this 2024.
According to Dominic, he and Bea are busy preparing for their wedding at the moment.
“Actually, itong January ‘yung Save the Date so inaayos na namin lahat ang lahat ng ayusin… itong January dapat ilatag lahat. Ang daming aasikasuhin from our families to our friends, mga bisita, our ninongs and ninangs.”
