Sarah Lahbati on spending own hard-earned money: 'You don't owe anyone any explanation'
Sarah Lahbati has something to say about women spending their own money to treat themselves every once in a while.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, she said there’s nothing wrong with doing so, especially if it’s your own, hard-earned money.
“I think when you work hard for your own money, you don't owe anyone any explanation,” she said. “You work so hard to do what? To explain yourself? No. If you have a job and you work so hard, then you don't have to explain yourself to anyone.”
“Just do your thing, whatever it is that you want to do,” she added.
In the same interview, Sarah shared her secret to staying unshaken despite the drama that comes from being in showbiz.
“There's nothing I value more than my peace. That's a non-negotiable,” she said.
Sarah has two sons, Zion and Kai, with her husband, Richard Gutierrez.
Their marriage is currently surrounded by breakup rumors after eagle-eyed netizens noticed Sarah’s absence at the birthday bash of her mother-in-law, Annabelle Rama.
Since the speculation started, Sarah has been spending time with her kids and her parents.
She also cut her hair short, got new tattoos, went on a dance class with Kyline Alcantara, and even moved into a new home. —Carby Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
