Kylie Padilla unleashes inner rockstar in fundraiser performance with band Hilera
Kylie Padilla brought out her inner rockstar as she graced the stage of a music hall and pub in Ortigas, Pasig for a fundraiser.
On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared photos and videos of her performance with OPM band Hilera.
“NOSI BALASI is all I got to say,” Kylie wrote in the caption.
Kylie sang the songs “Zombie” by The Cranberries, “Nosi Ba Lasi” by Sampaguita, and “Di na Muli” by Itchyworms.
“Akoy nabitin sa aking pag awit kagabi,” Kylie said in her Instagram broadcast channel.
Kylie’s performance was for a good cause.
The entire show, which was also graced by other singers and bands, was a fundraiser for the radiation treatment of writer Denise Mallabo, who has an acoustic schwannoma.
Called “Beat It, Jolens the Tumor," the event will help Denise in affording treatment for the growing tumor in her head.
Kylie recently went on a trip to Japan, where she visited Lake Kawaguchiko.
In November last year, she teased her fans with her return as Hara Amihan in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” which is set to premiere this year.
The series will be led by Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian. They will play the roles of the new keepers of the Brilyante ng Lupa, Apoy, Tubig, and Hangin, respectively.
