Gabbi Garcia says she wants to do a GL project in the future
Gabbi Garcia has played a Sang’gre, a badass agent, and an aspiring musician, but she’s still got a dream role that she hasn’t played yet.
On Luis Manzano’s online interview series “Luis Listens,” the Kapuso It Girl said, “Hindi pa ko nakakagawa ng anything LGBTQIA.”
Gabbi added that she would want to work on a Girls Love (GL) or Girls Romance project one day. “Feeling ko masaya din siya gawin,” she added.
Other than that, Gabbi also hopes to portray girl boss types of characters, “na pwedeng i-look up [to] ng mga girls ngayon, na empowering siya.”
Meanwhile, either in acting or hosting, Gabbi hopes to work with her “sobrang idol” Anne Curtis, Jericho Rosales, and Luis.
In the same interview, Gabbi also looked back at her showbiz beginnings, including auditioning for “Pinoy Big Brother.”
In 2023, Gabbi was one of the stars of “Unbreak My Heart,” the historic collaboration of GMA Network and ABS-CBN, alongside Jodi Sta. Maria, Joshua Garcia, and Richard Yap.
She was also one of the stars of the megaserye “Mga Lihim ni Urduja.”
Gabbi is set to return as Alena in the upcoming series “Sang’gre.”
The Sparkle artist was also recently named the first Filipina global ambassador for international shoes and accessories brand Aldo.
In November, Gabbi launched her own beauty brand, Five Beauty.
