'Sang'gre' cast take wushu training together

The cast of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” are continuously training hard for the upcoming series!

In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Tuesday, Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda gave a glimpse into their Wushu training, showing their impressive moves.

“Masaya kasi may bond din siya for all of us kasi tulad nito, pare-parehas kaming nacha-challenge. Pare-parehas kaming pinagtutuunan namin ng pansin ‘yung bawat move and I think it makes the connection better,” Bianca said.

The stars also said that they have been preparing for the project’s fight scenes since last year.

“Iba pala talaga ‘yung feeling ng Wushu kasi the way na i-extend mo ‘yung body with control and power at the same time,” Faith said.

“Kailangan talaga ano ‘yung galaw eh, broad. So, ‘yung Wushu na movement parang ano siya eh, ‘yun ‘yung nababagay na stunts para sa aming mga ‘Sang’gre,’” Kelvin said.

The three lead stars were also joined by their co-stars, Shuvee Etrata and Bianca Manalo.

“Ibang klase ‘yung fight training, ‘yun talagang team Philippines ‘yung nagte-train sa’min ‘di ba? So, nakaka-proud,” Bianca said.

Earlier, GMA Entertainment Group warned against scammers who have been posting about the fake auditions for “Sang’gre.”

“The public is hereby advised that there is no ongoing audition for the upcoming series. Victims of these fake auditions are also encouraged to report to the authorities,” its statement said.

“Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” is set to premiere this year.

Aside from Bianca, Faith, and Kelvin, it will also star Angel Guardian. They will play the roles of the new keepers of the Brilyante ng Lupa, Apoy, Tubig, and Hangin, respectively.
