'Running Man Philippines' Season 2 teases identity of 7th cast member
The seventh cast member of "Running Man Philippines" is ready to run!
On its official Instagram account, the reality game show shared a one-minute clip teasing fans about the identity of the newest runner.
The video did not show the runner's face, but he is revealed to be male as he passed through an airport.
"O' ano, akala niyo maiiwan ang bagong runner sa Pilipinas? S'yempre dumating na rin siya sa South Korea," the caption read.
Original runners Mikael Daez, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, Glaiza De Castro, Angel Guardian, and Kokoy De Santos are already in South Korea.
In the first season of the show, Angel was hailed as the ultimate runner.
"Running Man Philippines" Season 2 was confirmed earlier this month, but OG runner Ruru Madrid recently announced that he will miss the season. Ruru reassured that he would still be part of the show through a special role.
In "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" last week, Ruru's fellow runners took guesses on who would be the seventh runner for the new season.
Mikael guessed that it could be his wife, Megan Young, while Lexi said it could be Andre Paras. Buboy said it could be Miguel Tanfelix, and the reason for his guess was just his "vibe."
For Glaiza, she guessed that it could be Rocco Nacino. Kokoy said he had no idea, but his wild guess would be Albert "Betong" Sumaya Jr. As for Angel, she joked that it could be Tito Boy himself.
"Running Man Philippines" is the local adaptation of the longest-running South Korean reality game show, "Running Man." It is a co-production between GMA Network and SBS Korea.
