Manila Luzon gives a fab tour of the Philippines for Vogue
Manila Luzon gave a tour of her favorite places in the Philippine capital, and of course, she looked fabulous while at it!
In her feature for American Vogue, the drag artist wore pieces by rising Filipino brands like ushisato, Russet Accessories, Medyo Vintage, and Extraordinarinail. She looked phenomenal as she posed in front of a jeep and ate street food!
“An Alternative Guide to Manila by Its Unofficial Queen, Manila Luzon” dived into Manila Luzon's favorite places like drag clubs O Bar and Nectar, restaurants Food for the Gays Café, Manam, and The Curator.
She also named fashion and beauty brands Orias Studios, Avignon Clinic, and Strokes as go-to places. More of her faves include Raffles Hotel Makati, The Peninsula Manila, and Bonifacio Global City.
The drag queen couldn’t hide her happiness on Instagram. “I’m in @voguemagazine ! I’m screaming!! Anna Wintour approves!”
Manila Luzon was named Best Entertainment Host for her work on “Drag Den Philippines” at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in Singapore last December.
“Drag Den Philippines”is gearing up for a second season. A grand event to celebrate the premiere—with a media conference, performances, an exhibit, a "Dragdagulan" drag showdown, and a red carpet—will be held on January 17, Wednesday, at the TriNoma Activity Center in Quezon City. It is a free event.
The 10 competing queens are Deja, Elvira, Feyvah Fatale, Jean Vilogue, Margaux, Maria Lava, Marlyn, Moi, Mrs Tan, and Russia Fox.
The second season is bigger than ever with a new set of rules, a new den, and a lot of new challenges. Apart from launching in the Philippines, it will also stream in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on Prime Video.
