Cedrick Juan wants to work with Bianca Umali: 'One of the great actresses of GMA'

If given a chance to work on a project for GMA Network, who is the Kapuso star that Cedrick Juan would love to work with?

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 Best Actor said he would love to work with many Kapuso artists, particularly Bianca Umali. 

"I think she's one of the great actresses of GMA," Cedrick said.

Cedrick was the breakout star of "GomBurZa," a historical film about the three martyr priests: Mariano Gómez, José Burgos, and Jacinto Zamora.

The 33-year-old theater actor's performance as Burgos earned him the best actor trophy in the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal, besting the likes of Piolo Pascual, Dingdong Dantes, and Alden Richards.

Bianca, meanwhile, is one of Sparkle's most talented artists. She will star in upcoming "Encantadia" spinoff "Sang'gre" as Terra, the daughter of Hara Danaya.

For those who have not yet watched "Gomburza," you still have the chance to do until January 14. The theatrical run of the MMFF movies was extended after the festival broke the box office record with gross receipts of P1.069 billion as of Sunday.
