Kiray Celis attends Traslacion with boyfriend Stephan Estopia

Kiray Celis and her boyfriend Stephan Estopia joined this year’s Traslacion.

On Instagram, Kiray shared a photo of them wearing hooded shirts with an image of the Black Nazarene in front, and the name “Estopia” printed on the back.

According to Kiray’s Instagram Stories, they also attended mass at the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, popularly known as Quiapo Church.

In her caption, the actress paid tribute to her boyfriend.

“’Find someone who is willing to learn, hustle, pray and grow with you.’ At nahanap ko na nga!” Kiray said.

“Kapag parehas talaga kayong nangangarap, sabay na nagdadasal at parehas na nagtutulungan.. walang imposible! Viva, Poong Jesus Nazareno!” she added.

For the first time since 2020, the grand procession of the image of the Black Nazarene, also known as the Traslacion, resumed. It is part of the celebrations for the Feast of the Black Nazarene. Another traditional part of the ceremonies is the Dungaw Rites.

According to Quiapo Church, the procession officially started and left Quirino Grandstand in Manila at 4:45 a.m.

In a 10 a.m. update, the Quiapo Church reported that 1,008,000 people were spotted along the procession route from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The Manila Police District also recorded 38 injuries.
