Laurice Guillen describes Liezel Lopez as an intuitive actress in 'Asawa Ng Asawa Ko'

Laurice Guillen is back in directing TV series with GMA's upcoming primetime series, "Asawa Ng Asawa Ko."

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the veteran director shared her experiences working with lead stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Rayver Cruz, and Liezel Lopez.

"Iba-iba silang personalities. Iba-iba ang parts of their persona na kailangang trabahuhin ko," she said.

Among the lead stars, Laurice said she found Liezel the most intuitive.

"Intuitively, alam niya agad 'yung kailangan ko," she said.

According to Laurice, she prefers intuitive actors to intelligent actors.

"Right away, 'pag sinabi ko, nati-trigger na agad 'yung personal experiences na nag-pa-parallel do'n sa hinihingi ko," she added.

Meanwhile, the Kapuso director said Jasmine had the most takes while they were shooting the series.

"Si Jasmine, madaming takes... it's actually more of keeping her on track because she's playing a role that's been through really extraordinary experiences, suffering," she said.

Previously, Jasmine gave a glimpse of her character, Cristy, in "Asawa Ng Asawa Ko."

Jasmine will star opposite Rayver in the series, which is set to air on GMA Prime starting January 15.
