'Young Sheldon' star Iain Armitage shares photo with Lea Salonga

Looks like Iain Armitage is a big fan of Lea Salonga!

On Instagram, the "Young Sheldon" star shared photos of himself with the Filipina theater legend, along with a selfie with Bernadette Peters.

“Im so glad my 2023 included getting to see these two incredible women on stage- two of my very favorites and always have been!!!” he wrote in the caption.

“Thank you for an incredible evening!!!” he added.

Lea and Bernadette are part of the West End run of “Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends.”

It marks Lea’s return to the West End in 27 years after her run on “Les Miserables.”

“Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends” is a tribute show to the late American composer and lyricist who was behind the musicals “West Side Story,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” “Into the Woods,” and many more.

Meanwhile, Iain’s show, “Young Sheldon,” came right when "Big Bang Theory" was wrapping up. Both shows follow the wisecracking genius character Sheldon, whose older version is played by Jim Parsons.

Last month, it was announced that the upcoming Season 7 of “Young Sheldon” would be its last.
