'Firefly' child actor Euwenn Mikaell on breakups and 3rd parties: 'May nauna na eh. Ba't pa siya sisingit?'
If you think kids aren't wise enough for adult topics like relationships and 3rd parties, think again.
On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Kapuso child stars Raphael Landicho, Sienna Stevens and Euwenn Mikaell were asked for their thoughts on various adult topics including relationships.
While Sienna reminded couples not to fight and not to scream at each other, and Raphael to communicate, Euwenn got down right real.
Like Sienna and Raphael, he reminded couples not to fight, to calm down, and to talk properly. He also gave a no-nonsense answer to Tito Boy's followup question about 3rd parties.
“Paalisin niyo ang 3rd party!” He began. "Kasi may nauna na eh. ‘Ba't pa siya sisingit? Tsaka kapag yung lalaki a-ano sa third party na babae, cheater na yung lalaki,” the 10-year-old added.
[Remove the 3rd party from the equation. Because somebody was there first? Why involve yourself to someone who is already committed? If the man pursues another woman, he is a cheater.]Meanwhile the "Voltes V: Legacy" actor reminded couples how difficult it is to find love.
“Huwag na huwag kayong mag-away kasi mahirap makahanap ng true love,” Raphael said.
“Kailangan kapag may konting misunderstanding kayo, mag-communicate kayo. Communication is key,” he added. “Kaya dapat maayos niyo agad kasi mahirap makahanap ulit ng love na ganon…na katulad nung naging una mo.”
[When you have a misunderstanding, communicate. Communication is key. You need to fix what ever problem you have because it's hard to find love like your first.]Euwenn stars in “Firefly,” GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023. He plays the role of Tonton, the son of Alessandra De Rossi’s character Elay.
Sienna, on the other hand, played Lizzie, Dingdong Dantes's daughter in the Kapuso murder-mystery series "Royal Blood."
Meanwhile, Raphael starred in “Voltes V: Legacy,” as Little Jon alongside Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega.
