'Video City' starring Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman is now streaming on Netflix

“Video City,” Ruru Madrid and Yassi Pressman’s comeback film as onscreen partners is now streaming on Netflix!

On Instagram, Yassi shared the good news along with a photo of herself and Ruru watching the sunset together. The photo was taken during the filming of the movie.

“‘Video City’ now out on Netflix,” the “Black Rider” actress wrote.

Produced by VIVA Films and GMA Pictures, the film aired in local cinemas in September. 

It follows an uninspired filmmaker (Ruru) who accidentally travels back in time to the 1990s at a Video City store, where he meets the woman (Yassi) who will change his life.

Back in 2013, Ruru and Yassi also worked with each other in the Kapuso thriller series "Dormitoryo."

Meanwhile, the two are headlining the GMA action series “Black Rider,” with Yassi playing Bane, the leading lady of Ruru Madrid's Elias.

Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is also set to join Yassi and Ruru in the series.

“Black Rider” airs on GMA Telebabad every weekday at 8 p.m.
