Luis Manzano wants to host a reality talent search with Barbie Forteza

If there is one project that Luis Manzano wanted to do with Barbie Forteza, it is to host the biggest reality talent search in the Philippines.

On Barbie Forteza’s interview vlog series “Coffee Talk,” the Sparkle actress asked Luis what kind of project he wanted to do with her.

“Dahil nga sabi nga natin medyo nagbu-blur na ang network wars, Sana makagawa tayo ng isang hosting na tayo ang magkasama for the biggest talent reality show ng Pilipinas, Star Circle Struck,” Luis answered rerferencing to the two biggest talent reality shows in the early 2000s: Starstruck and Star Circle Quest.

Starstruck was a reality talent show by GMA Network that produced several Kapuso personalities such as Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, and Kris Bernal.

Meanwhile, Star Circle Quest aired on ABS-CBN in the early 2000s, which according to the actor-host was his first hosting gig on the Kapamilya Network.  

“Imagine mo," Luis said. "Isama mo 'yung pwersa ng ABS, isama mo 'yung pwersa ng GMA para gumawa ng biggest talent reality show. Astig 'yun."

Barbie expressed delight in dreaming of what used to be impossible.

"Ang sarap sabihin no? 'Yung pwede na… 'yung pwede na imaginin iyong ganon na parang dati parang imposibleng mangyari," she said.

Luis added, "Seryoso, maganda iyon."

In the same interview, Luis gushed about his wife Jessy Mendiola, and their daughter Isabella Rose or Rosie, who was born in December last year.

The mother and daughter had a joint birthday celebration this December.
