Alden Richards celebrates 13th anniversary in showbiz at his newly opened bar in Makati

Time flies!

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards just marked his 13th year in show business and he celebrated the milestone with a mass and get-together at his newly opened bar in Makati.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report in “24 Oras,” Monday, a special presentation showed Alden’s career highlights as well as his upcoming projects including the biggest historical drama of 2024, “Pulang Araw” and the first film he directed.

“I think it’s really more of contentment e, ‘yun ‘yung sobrang naano ko, naramdaman ko throughout this year because nung beginning nga medyo ungrateful tayo ng konti. Eventually kasi nung bumuhos naman, alam mo minsan ganon eh, parang itetest ka lang ni Lord kung hanggang saan ka and then pag kinaya mo naman, ‘yung benefits and rewards nun laging nasa dulo and learnings most especially,” Alden said.

[I think it's really more of contentment, that's what I strongly felt throughout this year because in the beginning, we were a bit ungrateful. Eventually, when the blessings started pouring in, you know, sometimes it's like the Lord is just testing you to see how far you can go, and when you endure it, the benefits and rewards are always at the end, and most especially, the learnings.]

This Christmas, Alden will be busy promoting his movie with Megastar Sharon Cuneta, “Family of Two: A Mother and Son Story,” which is an official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Despite the busy schedule, the Kapuso actor will be flying to the United States with his family to celebrate the New Year and his birthday on January 2.

Of course, he will be working on the side for his company, Myriad.

“Hahanap ng opportunities, of course, now with Myriad, medyo lumawak talaga ‘yung network and I’ve met so many potential partners in the US these past few trips ko sa LA. San Fo lang naman ako balik-balikan lang ‘yun one hour plane ride so probably meet our partners also,” he added.

[I'll be looking for opportunities, of course. Now with Myriad, the network has really expanded, and I've met so many potential partners in the US during my recent trips to LA. San Fo is just a one-hour plane ride away, so I'll probably be going back and forth to meet our partners as well.]
