Bianca Umali and Sanya Lopez together on the set of 'Sang'gre' for the first time

With 2024 just a few weeks away, we’re also getting nearer the premiere of one of the highly anticipated shows next year – “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre!”

In an Instagram post, Friday, Direk Mark Reyes teased fans with new photos from the show’s set showing Bianca Umali and Sanya Lopez together for the first time.

“The Millennial and the Next Gen Sanggres with Emre. The epic first time that the mother and daughter was on the set together,” Direk Mark said in his caption.

The two Kapuso actresses are playing Terra and Danaya, respectively.

In October, Bianca revealed that Terra is Danaya’s daughter and that she will be the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa.

After the introduction of Bianca, the three new sang’gres were also revealed: Faith Da Silva as Flamarra, keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy; Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, keeper of the Brilyante ng Tubig; and Angel Guardian as Deia, keeper of the Brilyante ng Hangin.

Aside from Sanya, more characters from the 2016 Encantadia are confirmed to be reprising their roles including Rocco Nacino as Aquil and Glaiza de Castro as Pirena. Glaiza even recently debuted her fiery red hair for the show.

The exciting teaser of “Sang’gre” was unveiled during the 2023 ManiPopCon.
