Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, more Kapuso personalities, programs bag awards in Gawad Lasallianeta

Kapuso personalities and programs will take home a lot of hardware when the 6th Gawad Lasallianeta holds its awarding ceremony in De La Salle Araneta University on January 29!

Alden Richards and Barbie Forteza lead the pack after getting named as Most Outstanding Film Actor and Most Outstanding Actress in a Drama series, respectively.

The Asia's Multimedia Star wowed with his performance in "Five Breakups and a Romance," which has earned P100 million in gross sales worldwide since its premiere in October. 

Barbie, meanwhile, proved her worth as the Kapuso Primetime Princess after playing iconic characters Klay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra" and Monique in "Maging Sino Ka Man."

Jessica Soho was hailed as the Most Outstanding Magazine Show Host for "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," while Atom Araullo was recognized as the Most Outstanding Male News Anchor and Documentarist for his work in "State of the Nation," "I-Witness," and "The Atom Araullo Specials."

Among Kapuso programs, "Unang Hirit" was named the Most Outstanding Morning Show and Morning Show Hosts. Dingdong Dantes's "Family Feud" and Boy Abunda's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" were also hailed as "Most Outstanding Entertainment Show" and "Most Outstanding Talk Show," respectively.
