Barbie Forteza grateful after receiving new awards from Anak TV, Saludo Excellence

Barbie Forteza has been recognized once again by two more award-giving bodies!

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Princess posed with the latest additions to her trophy collection.

"Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Anak TV Awards sa pagkilalang ito. Dahil dito, lalo ko pang pagbubutihan ang pagbibigay saya at inspirasyon sa ating mga kabataan," the actress wrote, thanking Anak TV, which named her Makabata Star 2023.

Anak TV is an organization that promotes media and television literacy and backs the agenda for child-sensitive, family-friendly television in the Philippines.

Barbie was also awarded Best Actress for TV by the 2023 Saludo Excellence Award.

"Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Saludo Excellence Award 2023 sa parangal na ito. Salamat po sa paniniwala sa aking kakayahan," she said.

Non-profit organization Saludo Excellence Awards gives recognition to outstanding Filipino leaders, talents, organizations, and companies. The award-giving body started in 2021.

In July, Barbie also clinched the Best Drama Actress award at the Golden Laurel Batangas Media Awards 2023 for her performance in "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

In December last year, Gawad Banyuhay sa Programang Pang-Edukasyon also gave the Sparkle star an award for the same show.

Barbie is set to star in "Pulang Araw," which is dubbed the biggest historical action-drama series of 2024. She will be joined by David Licauco, Sanya Lopez, and Alden Richards.
