GMA Network programs, Kapuso personalities receive Anak TV Awards 2023 awards

Twenty-nine GMA Network programs, five GTV programs, and several Kapuso personalities were recognized at this year's Anak TV Awards.

According to a report on "24 Oras" on Friday, Senior Vice President of GMA Integrated News Regional TV and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso and Vice President and Deputy Head for News Programs and Specials Michelle Seva were present at the ceremony.

"This amplifies kasi our role, especially our GMA Integrated News, hindi lang sa mga local communities but sa bansa natin that we have to deliver responsibly the news," Amoroso said. "Sa pagtutulungan ng lahat ng ating platforms mula sa TV news, Manila, Regional TV, radio, and digital news eh nagagawa natin ‘to lahat."

"So, again, maraming salamat sa Anak TV Awards for giving us this recognition,” he added.

Anak TV also gave a special tribute to the late “24 Oras” anchor and veteran journalist Mike Enriquez, naming him the first ever Anak TV Hall of Famer.

Anak TV is an organization that promotes media and television literacy, and backs the agenda for child-sensitive, family-friendly television in the Philippines. GMA Network, ABS-CBN, TV5, and more of the country’s major television networks are among the members of Anak TV and support their advocacies.

The Anak TV Seal is annually bestowed on exemplary television programs that fulfill the needs of children and the youth.
