Dingdong Dantes is ‘truly honored’ after reaching another milestone as a reservist

Dingdong Dantes.

Dingdong Dantes just marked another milestone as a Philippine Navy reservist.

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime King shared how he "just accomplished my reception rites into the distinguished ranks of the The Philippine Navy Seabees!”

“I am truly honored to share this milestone as a Reservist. Ooowaaah!” Dingdong wrote in the caption.

Sharing a video taken from the ceremony, the actor said he is still catching his breath “pero sobrang worth it!”

“Always happy to serve the organization and the Nation. Maraming salamat po, Philippine Navy!” he said.

Aside from Dingdong, other celebrities who have been offering their services to the country by signing up as military reservists include Rocco Nacino, Matteo Guidicelli, Michelle Dee, and more.

Among the activities they participate in are relief operations, which they do while balancing their time for work, their family, and friends.

Dingdong has an upcoming movie with Marian Rivera titled “Rewind," a feel-good family drama with touches of magical realism. The project marks DongYan’s return to the big screen.

It is also an official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
