Michelle Dee is 'full of gratitude' after House recognizes efforts at Miss Universe
Michelle Dee has nothing but gratitude after visiting the House of Representatives (HOR) on Monday.
In an Instagram post, the Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist shared photos during her House visit, where she was recognized for her performance on the Miss Universe stage.
“Full of gratitude after recently being recognized at the House of Representatives for my efforts to represent #Filipinas with the best of my abilities, for bringing home the most special awards any Miss Universe candidate has ever won,” Michelle wrote.
The Kapuso beauty queen shared how grateful she was for being chosen as the newest tourism ambassador for the Department of Tourism.
“Service has always been my love language and what better way to show that than by serving the country,” she added.
In an interview with the reporters, Michelle vowed to continue to push for autism awareness and inclusivity — the advocacies she put forward at the pageant.
“It is my lifelong mission to spread awareness towards autism inclusivity, acceptance and empowerment. I have two siblings in the autism spectrum, but I champion for millions for individuals across the world,” she said.
Michelle ended her Miss Universe 2023 journey in the Top 10 and won four special awards, including Best National Costume.
Michelle will have a grand homecoming parade on Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
