Glaiza de Castro is in 'Pirena' mode with fiery red hair
Pirena is definitely back!
Glaiza De Castro is embracing her Sang’gre Pirena vibes with her new look! The Kapuso actress took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie showcasing her fiery red hair.
“Pirena mode on,” Glaiza wrote in the caption.
In November, the actress confirmed through an Instagram post that she will be reprising her role as Pirena in the “Encantadia” spin-off series “Sang’gre.”
“Ikinagagalak kong makita kayong muli, mga warka [bruha],” she wrote.
Glaiza played the tenacious Sang’gre Pirena in the 2016 remake of “Encantadia.” Pirena is the firstborn daughter of Minea and Hagorn, known for her fiery and assertive personality.
“Sang’gre,” will feature a new generation of diwatas. It stars Bianca Umali as Terra, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa; Faith Da Silva as Flamarra, keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy; Angel Guardian as Deia, the keeper of the Brilyante ng Hangin; and Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Tubig.
The teaser of “Sang’gre” was launched during ManiPopCon 2023.
