Ruru Madrid gets birthday surprise from family and Bianca Umali on the set of 'Black Rider'

It was a happy birthday indeed for Ruru Madrid!

According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” Tuesday, Ruru had a working birthday so his loved ones surprised him on the set of “Black Rider” instead.

Ruru couldn’t help but feel touched and happy upon seeing his family.

“Nakakatuwa kasi para akong bumalik sa pagkabata eh. Parang naalala ko nung bata ako nung sinusurpresa ako. That’s why I’m grateful to this family, I’m grateful sa pagmamahal, tiwala, at suporta na binibigay nila sa akin,” the Kapuso Primetime Action Hero shared.

[It's delightful because it's like I've returned to childhood. It's like I remember when I was a child, and they used to surprise me. That's why I'm grateful to this family, I'm grateful for the love, trust, and support they give me.]

His co-stars joined in on the fun and had special messages for the actor.

“Happy, happy birthday to you alam mo na sobrang proud ako sayo sana matupad ang lahat ng wish mo this year. Deserve mo ang lahat nang nangyayari sa 'yo,” Arra San Agustin said.

[Happy, happy birthday to you. You know I am extremely proud of you. I hope all your wishes come true this year. You deserve everything that is happening to you.]

“I wish you all the best, I wish all your dreams become possible in 2024. You’re a great man, you’re a humble man, you’re a very talented passionate person I had the privilege to work with,” Matteo Guidicelli chimed in.

Of course, Ruru’s sister, Rere Madrid also hada greeting for Ruru. “Alam ko malayo pa ang mararating mo. Mahal na mahal ka namin. Happy birthday,” shared Rere.

Bianca Umali, who’s busy preparing for “Sang’gre” was also present. She said that it’s difficult to make a wish for someone who already has everything.

“Pero ako, I would like thank everyone na lang at magpasalamat sa Ama for all the things na meron siya kasi sobrang deserve niya ‘yun. And A am one of the people na very proud,” the actress expressed.

[But for me, I would like to thank everyone and express gratitude to the Father for all the things that He has because He truly deserves them. And I am one of the people who are very proud.]
