SB19's Stell says coaching in 'The Voice Generations' is a learning process

Learning never stops for SB19 member Stell.

In a media conference on Monday, "The Voice Generations" coach reflected on his time mentoring contestants in the singing competition.

According to Stell, he enjoyed being a coach for the reality show as he learned many things that he was able to share with his fellow SB19 members and apply in real life.

"It's a learning process din po sa akin dahil ang dami-dami ko rin pong mga natutunan, ang dami ko pong nababaon na nashe-share ko din po sa other members ko, and of course naa-apply ko rin po sa buhay ko araw-araw," Stell said.

He also shared how the people he met in "The Voice Generations" inspired him in life.

"Dahil po doon sa mga tao, artists, talents na nami-meet ko po sa 'The Voice Generations' nagkakaroon po ako ng bagong inspirasyon at bagong dahilan para pa po ipagpatuloy at para mas maging buo ang paniniwala ko sa sarili ko dahil 'yung mga talents po sa Stellbound grabe ang tiwala sa akin," he said.

Stell also said that if there's one thing that he keeps on reminding Team Stellbound, it's to always be down-to-earth.

"Kasi alam naman natin na sa industry na 'to , maraming paraan ngayon na makilala at mabilis sumikat, pero once na makalimutan mo 'yung reason kung bakit ka nagsimula at sino ang inspirasyon mo bakit sinimulan mo ito," he said. "Once na makalimutan mo iyon at kalimutan mo lahat ng taong tumulong sa 'yo, kung gaano po kabilis ang pag-angat mo, ganon rin kabilis ang pagbagsak mo. Iyon lang ang mga sinasabi ko sa talents ko." 

"The Voice Generations" premiered in August with Stell, Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, and Billy Crawford as coaches.

Five groups in each team competed in the first round. In the end, the Music & Me of Julesquad, Sorority of Parokya ni Chito, VocalMyx of Stellbound, and P3 of TeamBilib advanced to the finals.

The grand finale of "The Voice Generations" will be on Sunday, 7:30 p.m.
