Aside from being a talented actress, did you know that Rhian Ramos is also an Ambassador of Peace for the United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP)?
On Friday afternoon, Rhian shared that the UNAP awarded her a medal for her important role.
“It is with deep humility that I accept this prestigious President's Medal as an Ambassador of Peace. It is a privilege for me to be part of this collective effort towards the realisation of the United Nation's sustainable development goals,” the Kapuso star wrote, expressing her appreciation to the organization.
“This is proof that we all have a role to play, even in our most humble ways, to create a world where peace prevails, where differences are celebrated and where everyone can thrive in respect and understanding,” she added.
During its 78th anniversary last month, Rhian led the lighting of the candle of peace at a Peace Gathering event held at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Rhian is set to star as Mitena in “Sang’gre” with Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda.
