Michelle Dee named tourism ambassador of the Philippines

Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Michelle Dee, has been selected as the Philippines' newest tourism ambassador!

Sparkle Artist Center shared photos on Instagram, showcasing the Kapuso beauty queen during her courtesy call at the Department of Tourism central office in Makati.

Michelle was welcomed by tourism secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, who also posed in the photos with her.

Last month, Michelle represented the country at Miss Universe 2023 and finished her journey in the Top 10 .

She won four special awards, including the Spirit of Carnival Award, the Miss Universe's fan vote, Voice for Change, and Best in National Costume .

Michelle wore an evening gown inspired by Apo Whang-Od , whom Michelle previously said symbolizes timeless beauty.

The gown also caught the eye of Harper's Bazaar Arabia , saying that it was among the 10 best fashion moments of the pageant, just behind Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua's white and blue number.
