Heart Evangelista is thankful for the people around her, gives credit to Marian Rivera for reaching out

From making waves during fashion week and gracing covers of numerous magazines, Heart Evangelista is indeed the Global Fashion Icon.

In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, Heart expressed gratitude for the people who have supported her, including her husband, Chiz Escudero.

While there are some who were “removed from her life,” she only has gratefulness in her heart.

“Parang magpapasalamat ka nalang na things were done and things were removed for the better. I think for me, that’s all I need,” she said.

[It's like you would just be thankful that things were done and things were removed for the better. I think for me, that's all I need.]

Heart also realized many things including people re-entering her life.

“Everything else like you know people I was friends with before like, for example, Marian, you realize that’s such trivial matters for it to even be anything diba,” she quipped.

The actress and Global Fashion Icon then added, “Mas may ibang mas nakakasakit sayo na kailangan tanggalin ni Lord, meron naman iba na deserving so I’m very very happy that Marian and I are okay.”

[There are other things that hurt you more that the Lord needs to remove, while there are others who deserve it, so I'm very, very happy that Marian and I are okay.]

Heart gives credit to Marian for reaching out and talking to their common friends about the possibility of meeting up with each other soon.

Heart and Marian followed each other on Instagram last October. On November 11, Heart talked about their renewed friendship.

Meanwhile, in an interview, Marian mentioned that reconnecting with Heart is proof of “God’s timing.”

We’re surely looking forward to seeing the two queens together!
