'Firefly' releases full trailer

Are you ready to journey to the island of fireflies?

On Wednesday, GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures released the full trailer of “Firefly,” an official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Directed by Zig Dulay, “Firefly” is a coming-of-age road trip drama about a young boy who searches for the mythical island described in his mother’s stories.

The full trailer provides a glimpse into Ton's (played by Euwenn Mikaell) grand adventure, where he is joined by the characters played by Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega.

In an interview on “Unang Hirit,” Miguel and Ysabel shared how happy and proud they are to be part of the movie.

The movie will also have the special participation of the Kapuso Primetime King, Dingdong Dantes.

An exclusive screening of “Firefly’s” full trailer happened today and it was attended by Euwenn, Miguel, Ysabel, Direk Zig Dulay, and Alessandra de Rossi who plays the role of Euwenn’s mother.

We’re excited to see “Firefly” in cinemas starting on December 25!
