'Becky and Badette' starring Pokwang, Eugene Domingo already has sequel in the works

Pokwang and Eugene Domingo were both surprised to learn that their upcoming movie "Becky and Badette," an official entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), is going to have a sequel.

Boy Abunda made the exclusive announcement on Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

"Hindi pa natin napapanuod sa December 25, being part of the MMFF, ginagawa na po ni Jun Lana ang sequel," the King of Talk said in the show. 

Both Pokwang and Eugene squealed with excitement when they heard the news.

"Hindi talaga nagpapahinga ang utak mo! Grabe ka," Pokwang said, pertaining to Jun.

"Becky and Badette" follows the story of two high school best friends who became famous over a story they made up about a former batch mate.

Apart from "Becky and Badette," this year's MMFF features other must-see movies such as GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures' flagship movie, "Firefly," "Rewind" starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, and "Family of Two (A Mother and Son Story)" starring Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards, among others.
