Ruru Madrid takes on Ogie Diaz's viral acting workshop
Does Ruru Madrid have what it takes to impress Ogie Diaz?
The Kapuso Primetime Action Hero took on Ogie’s acting workshop, which went viral as students would yell out the lines, “Hayop ka! May araw ka rin! Mabubulok ka sa impyerno!” The veteran talent manager will tap on the student’s shoulder if he wants them to act out stronger emotions.
“Dito natin malalaman kung talaga bang napakahusay nang umarte nitong si — ano pangalan mo? Ruru Madrid?” Ogie said in a TikTok video on GMA Network’s page.
Mama Ogs then instructed Ruru, “'Yung nag-va-viral ngayon, gusto ko gawin mo ha. Okay? Level tayo dito ha.”
As Ruru got into character, Ogie added, “Kunyari galit ka sa ‘kin ha, parang isusumpa mo ‘ko."
When Ogie tapped Ruru’s shoulders, Ruru acted out the lines. Another tap later, Ruru gave it his all and yelled out the lines with matching angry facial expressions.
“Ang galing galing mo, Ruru!” Ogie said , clapping before giving the actor a hug.Looks like Ruru passed!
“Black Rider” stars Ruru Madrid as Elias Guerrero, a delivery rider with a dark past who helps those in need. The series also tackles themes of social class, and how the rich use their power to challenge the lives of the poor.
Ruru previously said the role is a dream come true.
