Bea Alonzo, Lolit Solis finally patch things up after meeting in birthday party

Bea Alonzo and Lolit Solis finally met in person during the birthday party of entrepreneur and CEO Rei Anicoche Tan.

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Monday, the pair approached each other during the event, surprising the press.

Lolit had been criticizing Bea on Instagram last year, prompting Bea's manager Shirley Kuan to defend the Kapuso star.

"I'm happy na finally nagkita na kami. Christmas na Christmas at ang Christmas ay panahon ng pagmamahalan, pagpapatawaran, di ba? So I'm happy," Bea said.

Lolit, meanwhile, said she has long wanted to reach to Bea and said she has no personal issues against the actress.

"Talagang apologetic ako," the veteran showbiz manager said. "Sabi ko, ba't ko ba inaano 'tong si Bea eh hindi naman kami magka, ibig kong sabihin, hindi naman kami magka-close pero talagang kagagahan ko, naging tuluy-tuloy 'yon di ba," she said.

Bea is thankful to Rei for bringing her and Lolit together, as well as for inspiring her to put up her own business. She recently launched her retail brand Bash, which specializes on travel essentials.

The actress currently stars with Dennis Trillo, Andrea Torres, and Sid Lucero in "Love Before Sunrise," a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines.

The series airs weekdays on GMA Telebabad at 8:50 p.m. after "Black Rider." It also streams on Viu.
