Rita Daniela, Jose Mari Chan duet 'Christmas In Our Hearts' in Malacañang

Rita Daniela just performed in Malacañang for the first time!

On Instagram, the Kapuso singer-actress shared the experience of performing a duet with Jose Mari Chan for the Christmas Tree lighting event at the palace.

The two sang "Christmas In Our Hearts," Jose Mari's iconic 1990 Christmas song.

"My first Malacañang experience!" Rita said in the caption.

"A duet with Tito Jo [JMC] during the Christmas Tree Lighting yesterday," she added.

In a previous interview, the King of Philippine Christmas Carols said being associated with Christmas every year through his song is like "being a blissful parent to a child's achievements."

"When a song of mine becomes popular, it's like seeing your son becoming president of a company, president of a bank, you know," he said.

Meanwhile, Rita returned to work just last June after giving birth to son Uno in 2022. She previously starred in "My Special Tatay," "Ang Dalawang Ikaw," and "One of the Baes."

She recently performed "From Afar," the theme song of "Love Before Sunrise."
