Michelle Dee and Anntonia Porsild head home after Miss Universe: ‘It’s not goodbye’

Michelle Dee and Miss Universe 1st Runner-Up Anntonia Porsild are both headed back to their home countries after competing in the international pageant.

The Filipina queen got sentimental on X (formerly Twitter) and posted a picture of them hugging in bed. Tagging the Thai beauty queen, Michelle also posted a solo shot of Anntonia with the caption, “Ciao, Anntonia! See you soooon!!”

But it’s not the end of #PorDee. Michelle said in her caption, “It’s not goodbye, just see you later!”

Michelle and Anntonia have formed a strong friendship from their time competing on Miss Universe. Shortly after the coronation event in El Salvador, the hashtag #PorDeeUniverse trended on X. They started posting TikTok content after the competition, and stunned in matching hot pink gowns at an Miss Universe Gala dinner in Mexico.

The two were also the subject of pageant controversy, when Miss Universe El Salvador mixed up their names in a social media post.

Nicaragua's Sheynnis Palacios was crowned Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador on Sunday (Philippine time).

Meanwhile, Michelle finished in the Top 10 and won three special awards.

Michelle is set to come home to the Philippines on Saturday and fans are invited to give her a warm and happy welcome.
