Sharon Cuneta, Alden Richards turn on the waterworks in 'Family of Two' teaser

Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards' upcoming film, "Family of Two (A Mother and Son Story)," is sure to be a tear-jerker this Christmas!

The film recently dropped a teaser video, which gave a short glimpse into Sharon and Alden's dynamics as mother and son.

As the APO Hiking Society song "Pag-ibig" plays in the background, Alden is shown as a doting son to the Megastar.

"Mahal na mahal ko 'tong mama ko kasi napakabait," he said. "Love you ma!"

Like any mother and son, however, the two also get into conflict in the film. Sharon sees something in Alden's laptop and gets angry, while Alden becomes apologetic.

In the comments, viewers could not help but anticipate that the film will make them emotional.

"Hala! Bat parang maiiyak na ako clip palang na 'to," one fan said.

"Parang need magdala ng maraming tisyu," another quipped.

Sharon and Alden have built a strong bond while working on the film. Sharon called Alden "truly like her own son" while Alden have been such a sweet boy to his new "mama."

Alden sent Sharon a note and flowers and even gave her a surprise visit during the rehearsals for her "Dear Heart" concert.

"Family of Two (A Mother and Son Story)" is one of the entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival this year. It will be shown cinemas on December 25.
