'Five Breakups and a Romance' to hit US cinemas this week
"Five Breakups and a Romance," the first film of Alden Richards and Julia Montes, is going to America!
The film is set to hit select cinemas in California beginning Friday, including Orange Stadium Promenade, Cinemark Carson, Union City, and Vallejo, among other locations.
In the Philippines, "Five Breakups and a Romance" was a certified blockbuster, earning gross sales of P72 million as of its fourth week.
"Five Breakups and a Romance" follows the love story between Lance (Alden), a medical student, and Justine (Julia), an OFW in Singapore. The couple meet, reunite, fight, reconcile, and separate in an emotional journey showing the reality of relationships.
From the viral scene drop and the trailer release, the movie has received plenty of positive feedback from fans.
The film is directed by Irene Villamor, the genius behind "Meet Me in St. Gallen," "Ulan," and "On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets."
