'Sang'gre' teaser unveiled at ManiPopCon 2023

The first teaser video for the upcoming series ''Sang'gre'' has been unveiled at the 2023 ManiPopCon event!

In Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras Weekend'' on Saturday, the lead stars said that they felt chills upon seeing the video.

“Kahapon pa namin pinag-uusapan, ‘yun yung inaabangan namin kasi ang tagal din namin ‘yun shinoot. This is the first time na makikita ‘yung sarili namin in character,” Bianca Umali said.

“I felt very emotional nung napanood ko talaga ‘yung clip kasi ayun nga, ang tagal na namin siya ng binubuo na to see it with my own eyes na eto na talaga ‘yun. Visually, wala akong masabi. ‘Yung effects talaga, ‘yun ang inaantay ko eh,” Faith da Silva said.

The cast also shared that their training is still ongoing.

“Nagwo-workout ako sa bahay, also nagma-muay thai ako ngayon para lang din syempre alam mo ‘yun, masanay ako sa mga movement,” Angel Guardian said.

“Combat sports and syempre, inaaral ko pa rin ‘yung Enchan words,” Kelvin Miranda said.

The ManiPopCon event also marked the new generation of Sang'gres’ first public appearance together.

"Sang'gre" is a spin-off of “Encantadia.” Its first concept art was revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con in July.

It stars Bianca as Terra, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa; Faith as Flamarra, keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy; Angel as Deia, keeper of the Brilyante ng Hangin; and Kelvin as Adamus, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Tubig.
