At Miss Universe 2023 rehearsals, Catriona Gray, Michelle Dee snap a photo together : Let's go Philippines

Catriona Gray has started rehearsals for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.

On Instagram Stories, Michelle Dee shared a photo with Cat, welcoming her to El Salvador.

“Finally!!!” Michelle wrote, seemingly ecstatic that her fellow Filipino beauty queen is finally in town.

“Welcome to El Salvador," she continued, tagging Catriona.

The Miss Universe 2018 then reposted the photo on her account and said, “Let’s go Philipinesssss[.]”

She was also reunited with Andrea Meza, Julia Gama, and her backstage hosting partner in Miss Universe 2022, Zuri Hall.

Catriona was announced to be returning to Miss Universe as the backstage correspondent last week.

She just arrived in El Salvador carrying a silver luggage with a Philippine flag and revealed its significance.

Given to her by fashion designer Mak Tumang, the silver luggage actually held both her Ibong Adarna gown and her iconic Lava dress. 

Earlier, Catriona called Michelle's performance at the preliminaries "solid" after the Kapuso beauty queen served knockout looks during the swimsuit and evening gown competitions.

She will grace the Miss Universe stage on Sunday, vying for the Philippines' 5th crown with an advocacy for autism awareness. Michelle was among the 10 silver finalists in the Miss Universe Voice for Change video competition.

With one day to go, Michelle said she is "now just really enjoying the process." Missosology must've picked up the vibes as the beauty pageant expert organization put Michelle at the 3rd spot on its final hot picks for Miss Universe 2023.
