Sharon Cuneta tells Gabby Concepcion after 'Dear Heart' reunion concerts: 'Thank you for making our fans so happy'
Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion have wrapped up their reunion concerts and are now basking in all the love.
Following their show in Cebu, Sharon took to Instagram to thank their fans for the never-ending support.
Sharing sweet photos with Gabby, hand-in-hand and with the actor’s arm around her, the Megastar said, “Gabby and I would like to thank every one of you who came to our Dear Heart concerts."
“We are still so overwhelmed and are so grateful that 42 years after our first movie together, you have never stopped loving and supporting us both in our projects together and apart. Thank you from the bottom of both our hearts!” Sharon added.
She thank her former on- and off-screen partner for the experience.
“Thank you, Gabby, for these shows and making our fans so happy!” Sharon said.
Sharon and Gabby first starred in the feature film “Dear Heart” in 1981 and then became a top pairing. They got married in 1984 and were legally separated in 1987.
In 1993, Sharon and Gabby’s marriage was annulled.
They have one daughter, actress and host KC Concepcion.
The “Dear Heart,” reunion concert delighted ShaGab fans as it is rare for the former to share the stage together. They previously reunited for a kilig-filled McDonald’s commercial in 2018.
“Dear Heart” had successful sold-out shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27, where their daughter KC also made an appearance. She called the show "a fairytale come true."
The pair brought "Dear heart" to the NUSTAR Convention Center in Cebu on November 17 and had a VIP night held at the Okada Manila on October 30.
Prior to the shows, Sharon and Gabby teased fans by slow dancing to “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko,” posting some sweet photos, and hinting at tear-jerking performances.
From here, Sharon and Gabby will keep busy with their personal projects. Sharon has an upcoming movie with Alden Richards titled “A Mother and Son’s Story.” It is an official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Meanwhile, Gabby is already headlining the GMA Afternoon Prime series, “Stolen Life.”
