Rufa Mae Quinto stuns in Miss Universe-inspired shoot: 'Go go go Philippines!'
Rufa Mae Quinto totally nailed her Miss Universe-inspired photoshoot!
The Kapuso comedienne channeled her inner Michelle Dee in a sexy black sequined dress with high slits on the sides with silver chain details.
Rufa Mae also sported edgy layered black hair and smokey eye makeup, not unlike Michelle’s usual look
In her caption, Rufa Mae threw her support for the Philippine’ bet.
“I love and support you Queen!” Rufa Mae said, tagging Michelle.
According to Rufa Mae, she is friends with Michelle's mom actress and Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, having worked with her in the film “Super B” and the GMA Network series “Marinara.”
She joked about wanting to join Miss Universe, saying “Pa- join naman dyan.”
In a follow-up post, Rufa shared a few more photos from her shoot and said, “Todo na natin ito Philippines 2024!”
Michelle has been participating in Miss Universe’s pre-coronation activities in El Salvador. She made waves in her emerald green evening gown that is something of a tribute to her mom Melanie and sizzling red swimsuit.
For her National Costume, Michelle paid tribute to Filipino weaving culture and highlighted her role as an Air Force Reservist.
She is vying for the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown with an advocacy for autism awareness. Michelle was among the 10 silver finalists of the Miss Universe Voice for Change video competition.
The Miss Universe coronation night is set for November 19, Sunday (Philippine time).
