'Five Break-Ups and a Romance' starring Alden Richards, Julia Montes to get international screenings
Alden Richards and Julia Montes's film, "Five Break-Ups and a Romance," will get international screenings!
GMA Pictures, Cornerstone Entertainment, and Myriad Corporation announced the news on Tuesday as the film heads to its fifth week in cinemas.
The movie is a certified blockbuster, earning gross sales of P72 million as of its fourth week.
"Weeks after our opening date, seeing all of you at the block screenings & cinema visits was just so overwhelming!" Alden said on Instagram.
"We appreciate each and every one's effort in making 'Five Break-Ups And A Romance' a success! Thank you all so much!"
"Five Break-Ups and a Romance" follows the love story between Lance (Alden), a medical student, and Justine (Julia), an OFW in Singapore. The couple meet, reunite, fight, reconcile, and separate in an emotional journey showing the reality of relationships.
From the viral scene drop and the trailer release, the movie has been getting plenty of positive feedback from fans.
Many celebrities have also been gushing over the film, including Sharon Cuneta, Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, Shaira Diaz, and more.
The film is directed by Irene Villamor, the genius behind "Meet Me in St. Gallen," "Ulan," and "On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets."
