Michael V. teases skits with Lola Amour, Ninong Ry, and more for 'Bubble Gang' anniversary

“Bubble Gang” is celebrating its 28th anniversary this November, and its special episode promises to be a blast.

Michael V. teased on Instagram that exciting stars will be gracing the show, such as OPM band Lola Amour, food content creator Ninong Ry, and Kapuso news personality Kuya Kim Atienza.

“Proud to say that these are not Photoshopped,” the King of Philippine Parody said in his caption.

“28 years na ang #BBLGNG! Sino ang pinaka-memorable na BG character sa inyo?” he added.

The “Bubble Gang” Instagram page also teased that Kapuso personalities will appear on the show. These include Boy Abunda who meets his parodied version, and Jillian Ward who will play her character Doc Analyn from “Abot Kamay na Pangarap.”

Bitoy previously spoofed Ninong Ry as Ninong Cry, who was high on emotions for two reasons—gratitude for having many subscribers and losing a lover.

Another memorable spoof was of Lola Amour’s top hit “Raining in Manila,” which turned into “Waiting Here sa Pila,” about lining up for coffee despite not having any money.

More of Bitoy’s top parodies are the OPM hit “Uhaw” by Dilaw, which served as a reminder for content creators. He also gave the song “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw” a whole new meaning.

“Bubble Gang’s” 20th anniversary special “Bente O-Chew” is airing on November 19 and 26 at 6:35 p.m. on GMA Network.
