'Rewind' starring Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes drops first trailer

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes's comeback movie, "Rewind," just released its first trailer on Monday.

In the film, the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen play a couple whose marriage are on the rocks. The husband does not treat his wife kindly and she seems to be suffering in silence.

In one scene, Dingdong tells Marian that her chosen outfit makes her look like she's going to a funeral.

"Lamay ko naman talaga eh," she answered, hinting at the magical realism element of the film.

The trailer shows a car accident happening, followed by the happy memories of the couple before their relationship began falling apart.

Ben&Ben's "Sa Susunod Na Habang Buhay" then plays in the background as the official sound track of the film.

Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, "Rewind" is one of the entries for this year's Metro Manila Film Festival. The film is a collaboration between Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and Agosto Dos Media.

"Rewind" marks DongYan's return to the big screen since "You to Me Are Everything," which was released in 2010.

Marian and Dingdong got married in 2014. They have two children, Zia and Sixto.

Dingdong currently hosts "Family Feud" and "Amazing Earth," while Marian has an upcoming series with Gabby Concepcion.
