Herlene Budol signs off as Gigi on 'Magandang Dilag'
“Magandang Dilag” aired its finale on Friday, and Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol has signed off as Gigi.
The comedienne and beauty queen posted several behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the set, such as getting transformed into her character, bonding with fellow cast members, and grooving to TikTok dances.
Herlene said in her caption, “I miss you, GIGI.”
“MAGANDANG DILAG FOREVER,” she added.
Gigi was Herlene’s first acting project. She also delved into pageantry, winning Miss Philippines Tourism at the Miss Grand International pageant in July. She was also named Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up.
“Magandang Dilag,” the GMA Afternoon Prime series, also starred Benjamin Alves, Rob Gomez, Maxine Medina, Bianca Manalo, Sandy Andolong, Chanda Romero, and Adrian Alandy, among many others.
It follows Gigi (Herlene) who wants to find love and acceptance despite all the pain she endured. When she meets the lawyer Eric (Benjamin), he helps Gigi get revenge on those who abused her.
