Diana Zubiri surprises OG Encantadia Sang'gres Iza Calzado, Sunshine Dizon, and Karylle

Team Karylle's "Magpasikat" entry last Tuesday for the weeklong anniversary of "It's Showtime" was truly one for the books — oncam and off.

Diana Zubiri even came home from Australia just for the performance!

Not only did she surprise her fellow original Sang'gres of "Encantadia" Iza Calzado, Karylle, and Sunshine Dizon — she also managed to catch it on video and share it on YouTube. 

First, she surprised Karylle during a Magpasikat rehearsal, After a moment of surprised screams, they shared a hug before rehearsing together.   

 Then Diana surprised Iza and Sunshine at a dinner. Iza, who arrived before Sunshine, could not help but spew out a couple of expletives  — and turn emotional — upon seeing Diana.

"Ang alam niya, hindi ako kasama sa 'Showtime'," Diana explained.

So much has changed in the four years they have not seen each other. "Nanay na ko," Iza told her balikbayan friend.

Meanwhile, Sunshine could not help but let out a big scream when she turned around to see Diana. "I missed you," she told her as they hugged.  

Team Karylle assembled the original Sang'gres of "Encantadia" for an enchanting performance last Tuesday that also featured David Licauco, who obviously had the best time.  

Diana, Iza, Karylle, and Sunshine first gave life to the Sang'gres in 2005. — LA, GMA Integrated News
