Boy Abunda gives an update on Kris Aquino after their reunion in the US

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the King of Talk confirmed that he reunited with his long-time friend, Kris Aquino, in the United States on October 25.

Boy revealed that he became emotional upon seeing his "sister," especially since they hadn't seen each other in a long time, despite staying connected through text messages and phone calls.

Like many who love Kris and wish her well, Boy expressed his desire for Kris to feel better, saying, "Magpagaling ka, gagawa tayo ng palabas.”

The multi-awarded TV host also expressed his pride in his godson, Kris's second child, Bimby, for taking good care of his mother. He also mentioned that it's Josh’s, Kris's eldest son, assignment to pray.

"Kris is being cared for by some of the best nurses, mga kasama sa bahay (household staff), mga doctor," he added.

Boy also shared that Kris might have to stay in the US for another 15 or 18 months due to the treatments she needs.

“Ang dahilan po noon ay dahil ‘yung meds po na kailangan ni Kris ay available lamang doon and ‘yung accessibility sa doctors ay kailangan kaya she has to stay,” he explained.

[The reason for this is that the medication Kris needs is only available there, and accessibility to the necessary doctors is essential, so she has to stay.]

Although the exact timeline of Kris's stay in the US is uncertain, Boy mentioned that they are praying for the "Queen of all Media's" health so she can return to the Philippines.

Kris expressed her heartfelt gratitude to those who have been praying for her and requested that Boy relay her message: "Boy, pakisabi maraming maraming maraming Salamat. Sana hindi lamang ako ang ipagdasal. It's also nice sana if people can pray for the people around me, my children, my sisters, 'yung kanyang buong pamilya, buong support system."

[Boy, please convey my heartfelt thanks. I hope people don't just pray for me but also for the people around me, my children, my sisters, my entire family, and my support system.]
